Troilus Gold Corp. Appoints Bruce Humphrey to Its Board of Directors

TORONTO, Sept. 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Troilus Gold Corp. (TSX-V: TLG) (“Troilus” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the addition of Bruce Humphrey to the Troilus Board of Directors effective immediately.

Mr. Humphrey brings over 45 years of experience as a mining engineer. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Desert Sun Mining Corp. from October 2004 to April 2006. From May 1998 to May 2004, Mr. Humphrey served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Goldcorp Inc. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario. He also serves as a director of several public companies in the resource sector.

Troilus also reports that 660,000 stock options have been awarded to various officers, directors, employees, and consultants pursuant to the Company’s stock option plan. The options vest immediately and are exercisable at $1.20 per common share for a period of five years. The grant of options remains subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
